Our rustic wooden shelves are handmade from excellent quality handpicked Redwood in our workshop based in South Wales. All the wood we use is FSC grade joinery timber that has been kiln dried to a moisture content found in most UK homes - this limits cracking and movement of the wood after fixture. 

Please note that placing a wooden shelf over a heat source may encourage the wood to crack, bow or warp. 

Each shelf is supplied with our concealed brackets intended for fixture to solid or plasterboard walls.

(Corbels are approx 15cm tall making the whole shelf height 19cm. Corbels are pre-fitted 8cm in from each end unless requested otherwise)

Each shelf will differ due to individual wood grain and natural splits and knots. Due to the nature of rustic timber, the shelf may include twists, bows, knots, shakes and splits. If you order multiple shelves, we try to make them as similar as possible. However, no two shelves will be exactly the same.

We recommend purchasing all shelves for one room at the same time so we can match them as best as possible. 

FINISH

Each of our shelves are finished by hand with natural beeswax. The finish is worked into the wood to preserve and protect the wood as well as highlighting the individual grain.

INSTALLATION

Our shelving comes with pre-fitted keyhole brackets, so they are ready for fixture as soon as they are delivered to your door. You will need alternative wall plugs for plaster board walls.
